The PGn neck is good for the Gary Moore style neck lead tone, it's not propably the most accurate, but you also don't have the correct Marshall head. Web7 Oct 2024 · I would put the Seth Lovers back in to sell the guitar. This way, you are selling the guitar as original and might get more money for it. Second, I like the Pearly Gates better than the Seth Lovers for what they are. The Pearly Gates are a PAF with an added midrange growl but they still clean up quite well.

Web7 Aug 2012 · Bear in mind that they are unpotted, as well. A Pearly Gates set for hotter, nastier Texas heat/blues stuff. PG bridge/Ant neck will be amazing. The Burstbucker seems to have more bass and slightly scooped mids, otherwise they sound very similar to my ears. There's way too much compression and noise-gating on that track though. Web3 Apr 2016 · Doubtful. For one thing, an Antiquity bridge is hotter than a Seth Lover bridge or neck. It's weird, but true (lots of people assume that they are the same pickup, only with some aging on the Ants; not true).
